Family Free Day at the Zoo

Thanksgiving Day
Make the Zoo part of your holiday plans, and visit the park on Thanksgiving from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.  A walk through our zoological collection is the perfect way to complete the day of giving thanks and feasting with family!  Enjoy free admission for all Milwaukee County residents.  The Zoological Society office will be closed.

Fantastic Forest of Holiday Trees
Fantastic Forest of child-decorated holiday trees opens in the U.S. Bank Gathering Place.

Christmas Eve
The Milwaukee County Zoo is open from 9:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.  The Zoological Society office will be open from 9 a.m. - noon.
Dec 25
Christmas Day
Enjoy the tranquility of the season, at the Zoo.  It's open on Christmas Day from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.  Visit some of our winter-themed animals such as reindeer and polar bears.  The Zoological Society office will be closed.
Dec 31
New Year's Eve
The Milwaukee County Zoo will be open 9:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.  The Zoological Society office will be open from 9 a.m. - noon.
January
Jan 1, 2010
New Year's Day
The Zoo is open 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Admission is free to Milwaukee County residents with I.D.  The Zoological Society office is closed.
